javax.persistence.PersistenceException: No Persistence provider for EntityManager named

troubleshooting error:
javax.persistence.PersistenceException: No Persistence provider for EntityManager named


persistence.xml should be in your CLASSPATH.

For eclipse web projects place persistence.xml in src/META-INF/persistence.xml
and eclipse will copy it into WebContent/classes/META-INF/persistence.xml
